Steve Syrmopoulos is the President of the Southwest Institute of Financial Education where he is responsible for the creation, design, and delivery of financial education and related products for businesses, planners, and individuals. Mr. Syrmopoulos joined the Institute in 1994 after spending 10 years with Prudential Financial and AG Edwards in the Midwest. He has furthered the interests and profitability of business clients throughout the world over the last 30 years. His areas of specialization include finance, financial planning, and global business pursuit with expertise in investment management and emphasis on risk management.

Recent presentations and executive development program clients include American College of Thessaloniki, Greece; University of Guam, Tokyo Extension Campus; Concordia College, Bronxville, New York; Honeywell Satellite Systems Operations; University of Sonora. Steve is currently a faculty member in finance and international business at Ottawa University, Phoenix, Arizona campus, and for the College for Financial Planning. He has also been a professor of finance for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Western International University. He holds a masters in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona, and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in financial management at North Central University.
