Many clients have unconsciously retained risk by being unaware of insurance limitations This webinar will take a look at common pitfalls that surface with the employment of household employees.

Topics covered will include:
• Liability exposures
• Worker’s compensation - is it required?
• Employment Practice Liability exposures.

The second part of the webinar will review common exposures a client faces while participating in a charitable endeavor and serving on a Board of Directors / Trustees. This session will not make you an expert in these areas, but will allow you to recognize issues a client might need to address with their insurance professional.

Timothy Greer, MBA, CEBS, ChFC, CLU is an associate professor at the College for Financial Planning. Prior to joining the College, Timothy had an insurance and financial services firm covering all facets of insurance, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health. He has also worked at a leading investment company, consulting with business owners and implementing retirement plans in the small plan market.
