Behavioral finance, the study of investor behavior, contradicts the long standing economic theory that people are rational and will maximize their utility - that is, make decisions with the best financial outcome. This webinar will explore client’s actions from a behavioral finance perspective and how that can inform a better risk tolerance score.

Timothy Greer, MBA, CEBS, ChFC, CLU is an associate professor at the College for Financial Planning. Prior to joining the College, Timothy had an insurance and financial services firm covering all facets of insurance, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health. He has also worked at a leading investment company, consulting with business owners and implementing retirement plans in the small plan market.
